How to Contribute or Share Feedback
We Want to Hear From You
ANCOR Method is a living, evolving practice. Your experiences, questions, and insights help us improve resources, clarify techniques, and support others on their regulation journey.
Whether you've been practicing for years or just discovered ANCOR, your perspective matters.
Ways to Contribute
1. Share Your Experience
We'd love to hear about your ANCOR journey:
What techniques have been most helpful for you?
What challenges have you encountered?
What shifts have you noticed in your nervous system, sleep, digestion, or overall wellbeing?
What surprised you about the practice?
Your story might help someone else feel less alone or give them the encouragement to keep going.
2. Ask Questions
If something is unclear, confusing, or missing from our resources:
Ask! Your question likely reflects what others are wondering too.
Questions help us identify gaps in our guides and explanations.
There are no "silly" questions—if you're wondering about it, it matters.
3. Suggest Improvements
Have ideas for how we could make ANCOR resources better?
Clearer explanations
Additional guides or topics
Different formats (video, audio, printable cards, etc.)
Accessibility improvements
Translations
We're always looking for ways to make ANCOR more accessible and helpful.
4. Report Issues or Concerns
If you encounter any problems:
Technical issues with the website
Broken links or missing resources
Safety concerns with any techniques
Inaccurate or confusing information
Let us know so we can address it promptly.
5. Share Testimonials
If ANCOR has been helpful in your life, we'd love permission to share your experience (anonymously or with your name, your choice). Testimonials help others understand what's possible and give them hope during challenging phases of practice.
What we're looking for in testimonials:
Specific changes you've noticed (sleep, stress response, physical symptoms, etc.)
How long you've been practicing
Which aspects of ANCOR were most helpful
Any challenges you overcame
What Kind of Feedback Helps Most
While we appreciate all feedback, here's what's especially valuable:
✅ Most Helpful:
Specific examples: "The grounding technique helped me during a panic attack at work" is more useful than "grounding is good"
Context about your situation: Knowing your starting point helps us understand your experience
Constructive suggestions: "It would help if the Sleep Guide included tips for shift workers" gives us clear direction
Questions about unclear instructions: Helps us improve our guides
Reports of what's working well: We want to know what to keep doing!
⚠️ Less Helpful:
Very general feedback without specifics
Requests for medical advice (we can't provide this—always consult your healthcare provider)
Comparisons to other methods asking "which is better" (ANCOR works alongside other approaches, not in competition)
How the Community Can Participate
Right now, ANCOR Method is in its early stages of community building. Here's how you can be part of it:
Share ANCOR with Others Who Might Benefit
If you know someone struggling with nervous system dysregulation, chronic stress, sleep issues, or sensory sensitivity, consider sharing ANCOR resources with them. Word-of-mouth from people who've personally benefited is the most powerful way ANCOR reaches those who need it.
Practice and Report Back
The more people practice ANCOR and share their experiences, the more we learn about:
Which techniques work best for different situations
How to improve instructions and guides
What resources are missing
How ANCOR interacts with various conditions and medications
Be Patient With the Process
ANCOR is growing organically. We're adding resources, refining techniques, and building community gradually. Your patience and understanding as we develop is appreciated.
Stay Connected
We're exploring options for:
Community forum or discussion space
Group practice sessions
Regional meetups
Practitioner training
If you're interested in any of these, let us know in your email.
